World Digital Library Standards and Technical Specifications
This section of the World Digital Library (WDL) project site contains information about descriptive metadata, image quality standards, and content transfer for the WDL. This information will be updated as the project evolves and more technical specifications will be provided. In addition, a cataloging tool to assist contributors in meeting the metadata requirements is in development. The Library of Congress (LC) will communicate information about this tool directly to partners, as well as make information available from this site.
