WDL Content Transfer
The transfer of digital objects will be arranged between the WDL project team and individual partners to determine the most efficient method.
The WDL team can retrieve content via FTP. DVDs and external hard drives can also be mailed to the WDL project office.
Image File Formats
Digital image files that have been selected for inclusion in the WDL should be provided in an uncompressed TIFF format. The WDL team uses the uncompressed format to create the derivatives that enable the zoom feature on the public site. The uncompressed TIFF files are not available for download on the public site. Please read the digital image standards for more information on file formats.
Metadata Formats
The WDL can accept metadata records in MARC, MODS, or Dublin Core format. View the WDL set of required metadata fields for more information.
